A Prayer that changes things

A Prayer that changes things, a prayer that changes ME. 

My heavenly Father,

Your knowledge is perfect,
my knowledge is limited and blended with error.

Your will is perfect, and loving.
my will is flawed and self focused.

I want to want what you want;
I want to pray sincerely "not my will, but your will be done".

When I say "Your Kingdom come, Your will be done on earth as it is in heaven"
I mean just that; I mean your will be done IN ME on earth as it will always be in heaven.

I know nothing is done outside of your will.
I accept your will for my life and my present circumstances
and I thank you for them.

Teach me to walk more perfectly in your will;
teach me to yield more perfectly to your will and
lead me with your perfect example, Jesus, my savior.

My only prayer is: Please continue to do your perfect will in my life
and let your will through my life bring glory to your name.
