Bipartisan world

History is indeed an erudite teacher. One thing history always imparts is the understanding that the world is a two-party system. We may be surprised to discover that God says the two parties are the party of The Truth and the party of The Lie.

The second mentioned is very large and powerful. While it does have a supreme leader, that leader is almost universally unrecognized. While it has a universal agenda, it has no universal unity; it is comprised of many thousands of competing factions, many of which hate and despise some, if not most of the others. Some factions are faddish, capricious, an amalgam of untried tenets (usually calling themselves "progressive"), and which are often comprised of a mob of unhinged dissidents raging against some perceived injustice arising from some recent event.  However, most of the well known factions  have deeply held beliefs and a long history of entrenched values. Many of the factions, while passionately advocating for some cause, often ironically engage in practices and employ rhetoric that is actually damaging to its own core principals, i.e. violence against violence, terrorism to bring about compliance, intimidation, hatred, deception, etc. Those of this party are characterized by logical inconsistencies, double standards, an inability to hear (listen), and a lack of allegiance to objective truth. The party platform often states that it's vision is for the welfare of all mankind, but the results of their policies are always pro-destruction,  causing the withering of mankind. Common tools of the cause are lie-based, like relativism, revisionism, cancel-culture, reproach, vilification of opposition, and carefully curated evidences that emphasize supporting facts and selectively ignore or reject disconfirming facts. This party is not new, but was established long ago in the garden of Eden.

The party of The Truth is small, meek, peaceful, and while reviled by the other party resist reviling in return. They refuse to engage in the same tactics and reject the use of the same worldly weapons as the party of the lie, and are therefore seen as weak, insignificant, and often maligned as pathetic. They do not target the members of the other party; they are not viewed as the enemy, neither do they hate them, since all members of the party of The Truth once belonged to the party of the lie. This small party is grossly underestimated however, because while they exist in the flesh, they do not fight according to the flesh. Even though the spiritual weapons of their warfare are regarded by man as weak and trivial, they are actually mighty in God, indomitable, invincible, and well suited for pulling down the most stalwart strongholds; casting down the most profound arguments, opinions, positions, sentiments, and every high thing that exalts itself against the knowledge of God, bringing every tenant, every doctrine, and every manifesto into captivity to the obedience of Christ.

History, both past and future will bear this out.
